Overview

TBD (an image will be added here)

1. Political system & political stability

Denmark

Denmark is a constitutional monarchy, that is run similar to a socialist country. This happened because Queen Margrethe II was seeing Danes as her kids and was kind enough not to seek power more than was given to her. However on January 14, 2024, after a 52-year reign, she abdicated power and gave it to her son, King Frederik X; who I think, unlike her mother, seeks power and influences the society with the far-right groups that he controls behind the scene.

In Denmark, most unions are quite powerful; sometimes even more powerful than the government! Also, the country is wealthy, and you have good options for insurance; in my opinion, much better than Iran and Armenia. The economy is also stronger and banks more easily lend mortgage and other types of loan.

Iran

Iran is a constitutional theocratic leadership tha is run similar to a monarchy, in which the leader/king wants to control it with absolute power, while the democratic movement (reformists) seeks to control that.

Armenia

Armenia is a democratic republic.

2. Nature

Denmark

Denmark is a small country and all around it looks similar; all flat.

Iran

Iran is a big country and has a diverse nature. It has access to the open seas through Persian Gulf and have access to the Caspian sea. It has a lot of mountains and some crazy tall peaks. It also has a few deserts and beautiful islands.

Armenia

Armenia is a small country; but it has a semi-diverse nature. You can hike in tall mountains and enjoy flat some cities, but it does not have access to see and does not have deserts.

3. Weather

Denmark

  • A small country with one type of weather.
  • Almost always gray and rainy.
  • A short mild summer, which is sunny and the temperature is above 20 for 3-4 weeks.
  • A winter with mild weather, not too cold, not too warm.
  • It's usually much windier than Iran and Armenia; that's why sometimes it feels colder than it actually is; and you should wear windproof cloths.

Iran

  • A big country with different types of weather.
  • Most of the country have 4 seasons; warm summer; cold winters.
  • In some places of Iran, winter can be colder than Armenia and Denmark; but comparison fully depends on where exactly you compare them with.
  • The southern parts are tropical; always warm.
  • In the middle of it, around the two big desert, it has extreme hot summers and freezing winters.
  • In some special parts of the country it's almost always windy; but in most places it is not as windy as the Nordics.

Armenia

  • A small country with one type of weather.
  • I think Armenia has the coldest winters compared to the other ones; because similar to Iran, it's full of mountains, and it's also located above Iran.
  • All the country have 4 seasons; warm summer; cold winters.

4. Culture and social life

Denmark

  • Danes are very good at marketing; that's why they could succeed presenting their country as the "happiest country" in the world.
  • In reality most Danes have severe mental health issues; and if you live there more than a few years it might affect you negatively without even realizing it.
  • Danes are very political; they present their rudeness toward others as being direct, while they are very political and hide what they really mean.
  • Real Danish values are:
    • Respecting their flat society.
    • Eating pork & potato.
    • Heavily drinking like mentally ill alcoholics.
    • Thinking that they are better than others (based on their color of skin, height, etc.).
    • Stubbornness that comes from thinking they are always right.
  • They obsessively love their county, and you can see Danish flag almost everywhere.
  • The whole society works together to hid all the bad things; that's why all the negative conversations are done in Danish and even news agencies don't cover most negative things.
  • They don't fight by shouting at each other or physically attacking (which is good), but they learn to be passive-aggressive.
  • When they smile, you never know if that's a good sign, or they're hiding a bad thing from you.
  • Most Danes care about keeping places clean and keep their noise level in an acceptable level.

Iran

  • People are though to be polite; even sometimes too polite; we have this thing called "tarof" which can sometimes be too much, even for us.
  • When someone is angry of you, you see it from miles away!
  • People might even end up in physical conflicts or shouting at each other on the streets! (which is terrible imo)
  • Some Iranians don't care about keeping places clean as they think "we are paying taxes, so it's the government's job"; which imo is horrible wrong.
  • Some Iranians don't keep their noise level in an acceptable level; and they party at home until late hours.
  • People love their culture and their background; but diversity comes with a cost; that's why these days most people are not happy with those radical "supper Islamists" which we think are backed by Israel and the United States.

Armenia

  • Most people are polite and respectful.
  • When someone is angry of you, you see it from miles away!
  • People might even end up in physical conflicts or shouting at each other on the streets! (which is terrible imo)
  • Most Armenians keep their places clean.
  • Some Armenians don't keep their noise level in an acceptable level; and they party at home until late hours.
  • People love their flag, country, culture and background.

Besides that, the majority of people speak Russian, but almost no one speaks English. Recently, US embassy has founded an "American corner" to convince the newer generation learn English and convince them to love US/Western culture. Even though this has motivated people to learn English, but for example even in AWS, which is an American technology, evens the organizers and those who represent those American brands cannot communicate in English! At least nothing more that basic words like Hi/Hello.
